Water Loss with Full Reconstruction and Remodel

This beautiful home suffered a huge water loss from a burst rubber water supply hose running to a washing machine located on the home’s top floor. Unfortunately water damage is a common occurrence from rubber hoses that become brittle, so we strongly advise homeowners to replace rubber hoses with quality braided steel water lines.

The following images show the initial day of water damage restoration service.

This water damaged home required an almost total gut out so the homeowners seized the opportunity to remodel their home and install some upgrades while the restoration and reconstruction work was being done. Our team had to remove all the existing tile flooring on the first floor due to water saturation in order make the area ready for the new build back.

Tile removal, application of anti-microbial spray, structural dryout, and drywall replacement:

During the water loss event, water ran to the ground soaking insulation and underpinning that had to be removed to completely dry the structure.  These photos show how our team put these building components back after dry-out was done:

The job came together really well. Everything came out on budget and on time. Cozy Kitchens did a beautiful job with their work.
