A Slow Pipe Leak

Homeowner found stains in the game room ceiling. Upon investigation, it was found that their water pipes were slowly leaking and dripped into the ceiling cavity above the game room. The slow leak had created a living environment for microbial infestation to occur on the framing. For safety we moved the contents out of the work area, we then set up containment to protect the unaffected area. Our licensed plumber repaired the leaking pipe, while we performed water damage mitigation to clean the affected area. After the structure was cleaned and dry, we replaced the drywall and insulation. The room was painted to match the existing color, and homeowner was very happy.
