Beach House Fungal Growth

Vacation rental home had apparent fungal growth in the ceiling of the living room beach house. Due to the size of the space, the use of the home, and the environmental conditions, Bluewater Restoration determined that there was insufficient air flow along with an imbalance of the HVAC system. Good airflow, especially in the ceiling of the home where moisture can become trapped, is an important condition to create to keep moisture to a minimum. We cleaned and removed the microbial growth in the ceiling, cleaned and painted the ceiling, addressed their HVAC system issue, installed a larger reversable ceiling fan, and replaced the flooring.
